When I first saw the photo, I was taken in by the sharpness, the clarity, and the overall look of the photo. I admit I am a fan of these type of cityscape photos, where we get more than just the urban environment, but also some of nature, even if it is what looks to be man-made, or at least man-modified.

Panoramas involving sky can be quite tricky at times; clouds don't like to sit still for the camera, but in this photo the clouds are nice and sharp, and have little to no ghosting left over.

I admit to having a bit of a thing for photos having a perfectly horizontal horizon line when that is what the image calls for, and this one is a bit off. I know I see it much more than most, but my eye personally is drawn to the slightly off kilter nature of the photo.

The colors in the photo are brilliant, they look sharp and dynamic, but not unnatural, which is a fine line to balance on for sure. But I feel there is a bit too much contrast in this photo. The sky is just about perfectly exposed, yet the buildings city are a bit too dark, killing some of the detail, and making parts, especially the top left corner of the biggest building on the right side, seem a bit unnatural.

The composition, as well as the layout of this panorama are great, and I love the reflections in the water, which had to have been a pain when merging the photo. Sadly though, it is really hard to be very original with photos of this nature; so many people photograph views like this, that coming up with a truly original take on it is almost impossible.

Overall, a new photo to add to my favorites for sure, and quite impressive. I can't wait to see more panoramas from this artist.
